Top 10 New Shows

It’s the most exciting time of the year, fall tv premiere time!! I’ve always loved this time, getting my copy of Entertainment Weekly in the mail, that double-issue covering all the new shows. The new buffet of shows this season are generally kind of bland, with maybe one or two shows I’m genuinely excited for. The great ones are all mid-season shows (or winter ones, at least for Canada). Regardless, below is my Top Ten list of new fall shows.

#10 Angel from Hell

This show is probably going to get cancelled, but I’m going to enjoy it while we have it. I think Jane Lynch and Maggie Lawson are going to have excellent chemistry and it’ll be a hoot to see them play off each other. The show seems to have an ‘Odd-Couple’-esque vibe to it, which I totally dig. Definitely room for more female-led comedies on tv.

We, and this blog, maintain a social-justice focused approach to our lives and employ an intersectional feminist analysis of popular culture. We love love love mass media and the stories they tell, but we also feel it is important to engage with those stories in a way that challenges the status quo and promotes diverse voices.
